Job Description:
Design Engineer
Must have completed BE/B Tech(Mechanical) from a recognised university
Should have an aggregate of 60% through out academics
Must have experience, preferably, in Oil and Gas Industry projects or operations
Should have good understanding of Oil and Gas industry codes and standard practices
Must have familiarity with Safety, Health and Environment regulatory rules and requirements,
executing systems to ensure compliance in the field
Must experience in understanding HSE policies, creating documentation and compiling records
confirming completion of obligations and regulations
Should knowledge of plant engineering drawings, ability to read and understand engineering
drawings, drawing guidelines and procedures.
Must have knowledge of technical documentation, QA/QC processes and standards for Oil and Gas
Industry
Should have working knowledge of ERP, APM or EAM tools like SAP, Meridium etc. will be an
advantage
Must have good communication skills (both written and verbal)
Must have understanding of, and willingness to apply, work improvement processes
Must provide technical guidance, review other team members� work, evaluate capabilities, develop
team competencies, develop and improve technical processes, create technical collateral, and
create technical tools.
Must provide knowledge on pressure Relief Device (PRD) Inspection Report review/approval and
recommendation development
Must be self-motivated, disciplined, passionate, and organized.
Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have time management abilities.
Must have problem solving skills.
