Job Description:
Testing Engineer
Candidate should have minimum 1.5 years experience in Database testing.
Should have worked on SQL for 1.5 yrs.
Candidate should have worked on Group By, Joins, Permissions, Order By, Aggregate Functions
(Mandatory).
Your notice period should not be more than 2 months.
We will not be able to consider a candidate with 3 month notice period.
You will not be eligible for this interview, in case you have been interviewed by Xerox Business
Services in last 6 months.
Candidate Profile
Ability to understand functional specifications from the customer perspective and design appropriate
tests.
Thorough understanding of test principles such as unit, smoke, functional (black box/white box), user
acceptance and usability testing.
Exposure to structured software development life-cycle methodologies, preferably agile models.
Experience and working knowledge of tools such as Bugzilla and Jira.
Experience in testing databases using basic queries.
Ability to use SQL Queries by applying basic joins ,Aggregate functions ,operators and ,DML
commands.
Experience of creating test cases.
Ability to analyze defects .
Ability to accurately log defects, escalate issues and risks.
Experience of working in tight deadlines in a mature time-boxed testing environment.
Be able to demonstrate consistent and good judgment of assessing severity of issues.
