Job Description:
Application Support Engineer
Candidate should possess BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
2+ years of developing andor supporting critical software applications. Experience in ITIL Service
Delivery and Support, preferably with a formal ITIL qualification (or their equivalents outside of the
ITIL framework).
Experience working independently and as part of a team to debug application issues working with
configuration filesdatabases, application log files, apply production upgrades and support the
products and technologies
Ability to read and understand ERDs using data modeling tools.
Have a working understanding of the software development lifecycle and be able to communicate
incident and project status, issues, and resolutions.
Extensive problem solving and debugging skills
Experience in providing services to agreed SLAs and OLAs
Experienced in Problem and Incident Management
Experience with supporting multi-tier infrastructures
Experience with working in an ITIL environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Willing and able to contribute to development activities including bug assessment and bug-fixing.
