Job Description:
Technical Support Engineer - L2
Provide L2 technical support.
Support Java based eCommerce projects.
Work in 24*7 rotational shifts to support a large e-commerce environment.
Resource monitoring of production environment, (e.g. hardware resource and associated software's
health monitoring)
Analyze the log files.
Tomcat administration, such as change settings, restart etc.
Work on Linux based environment.
Develop work around for the reported issues.
Candidate Profile
Basic level Java / J2EE / J2SE
Best practice Software Engineering and OOP concepts.
Moderate knowledge on Linux commands, and should be able to work on console.
Should be well versed with web application and basic knowledge on e-commerce platform.
Version control using Subversion or Git.
Basic knowledge on MySql database.
Tomcat server settings and should have adequate knowledge to find the anomalities of application
deployed in tomcat.
Basic knowledge on Docker,Jenkins,nGinX
Should have knowledge on ticketing system (Jira / Remedy is preferred)
Knowledge on any Java based application monitoring tool
Knowledge on any tool which monitors the resource of production eco system
Basic understanding of Load balancer
Basic knowledge on Agile
