Support,
Manage and Administer SQL databases
Hands on
experience in maintaining SQL server databases with .NET applications.
Support
Team members during project tasks e.g. implementation, patch installation,
upgrade etc.
Working
knowledge of SQL Server 2008 Clustering, Mirroring, Replication, Log shipping
Backups and
Recovery the database
Create
project specific documentation
Support
team to ensure process compliance for Quality and Security
Timely
updates of the ticket management system
At least 4
years experience in SQL 2005/2008- Administration, modeling and performance
tuning
Strong
understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and SQL Server Architecture
Knowledge
of Oracle DBA is a plus
Strong
knowledge in SQL Server 2005/2008 Clustering environments
Solid
experience in SQL Server tuning, performance monitoring
SQL
2005/2008 Certified DBA
Proficient
in TSQL
Proficient
in the various Storage technologies such as ASM, SAN, NAS, RAID, Multipathing
Strong
analytical and problem solving skills
Proactive,
independent and proven ability to work under tight target and pressure
Excellent
written and spoken communication skills in English ( overseas user support is
required)
