Job Description:
Senior Test Analyst
4+ years of extensive experience in Software Testing.
Preparing Test scenarios and Negative test cases based on Service Requests (i.e. Enhancements or
Defects) related to Claim Processing system functionality.
Performing Test execution manually and Automation on Mainframe Applications (AS400)
Analyze and dissect system requirements and technical specifications to create and execute test
cases for large business initiatives.
Expertise in Functional, Integration, System, and Regression testing.
Identify Regression and Re test scenarios from the test script to perform automation test.
Developing the QTP/UFT automation scenarios using VB script
Diligent in identifying bugs and track them through established Incident report.
Interact with developers to resolve issues and expert in root cause analysis.
Adept in ALM terminologies to log the defects in the same.
Updating Regression Scenarios by finding and removing the duplicate scenarios.
Supporting smoke tests on weekends after deployment into production environments, reporting
issues to Onshore Director and Deployment support team.
Active participation in new projects (Macro/Benefit Testing) to check the outcome of the
submitted claims.
Able to complete projects independently as well as a team player.
Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group meetings for quality
assurance
Extensive experience in skills �Best Practices, Task Estimation, Root Cause Analysis, Risk
Identification.
Good Domain experience on Health Insurance.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Competitive, cordial attitude and is self-driven and adaptable to changes in the work environment.
Knowledge on SQL queries, servers, is an added advantage
Willing to work in 2:30PM to 12:00AM and extended shifts as and when needed.
