Job Description:
Senior Officer - Payroll Technical
Detailed understanding the various areas of payroll which include retail, head office, distributions,
ex-pat, maternity, career break and pensioners payroll.
Understanding the interface out reports that go to the HMRC (P45/P46 information, student loans
etc.,).
Responsible to resolve payroll technical queries for each payroll area and queries from HMRC with
regards to PAYE.
Detailed understanding of the existing statutory regulation with regard to the payroll process and
also awareness, identification and investigation of the new statutory regulations affectin[Ig payroll.
Work closely with the various system support teams such as HRAM, ETHAF and Distributions.
Desired Profile:
Detailed understanding of the Pay As You Earn (PAYE).
Highlight the various system/technical issues to the respective technology team and induce a
permanent fix.
Work closely with Finance team with investigation of the various queries that cause imbalance to
the payroll account.
Responsible to maintain detailed process documentation and leverage understanding of the process
update/change.
