The Civil Services Examination will consist of the following successive stages
Preliminary Examination (Objective Type-Multiple Choice Questions) � 400 Marks
Main Examination (Compulsory paper � 1400 Marks & Optional paper � 1200 Marks)
Personality Test or Interview (250 Marks)
Scheme of Preliminary Examination:
Minimum Qualifying Marks: A candidate has to secure a minimum of 33% in the Paper-II of
preliminary examination so as to evaluate Paper-I of the preliminary examination.
Examination Fee: Rs.300/- (No fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates)
Examination Centre: Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack & Sambalpur.
