Age: A candidate must have attained the age of not less than 21 years and must not have
attained the age of 35 years on the 1st August 2015 i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier
than 1st August, 1980 and not later than 1st August, 1994.The upper age limit of 35 years will be
relaxable upto 40 years in the case of government servants in accordance with the instructions or
orders issued by the Central Government.

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for recruitment of 263 posts of Examiner of patents &
Designs(on contract) for the 0/O The Controller General of Patents,Designs & Trademarks under
Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion in different disciplines on purely contractual basis a
fixed tenure of Thirteen(13) months including the month of training.
