Job Description:
Apprentice
Trade Apprentices: Minimum Educational Qualification for respective Trade + ITI Pass.
Graduate Apprentices: Pass outs of Graduate in Engineering/Technology.
Age limit(As on 19.03.2018): 18 to 30 years. Relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST; 03 Years for
OBC(Non Creamy Layer) and 10 years for PWDs.
NHPC List of Vacancies: 6 Posts
Trade Apprentice: 3 Posts
Electrician � 1 Post
Fitter � 1 Post
Secretarial Assistant � 1 Post
Graduate Apprentice: 3 Posts
Electrical � 1 Post
Mechanical � 1 Post
Civil � 1 Post
Training Period: One Year (01 Year).
Selection process:
Eligible candidates as per requirement will be shortlisted on the basis of merit list prepared on the
basis of the marks secured and there will be no interview.
Weightage for selection process:
Trade Apprentices:
Weightage -30%: Marks obtained in 8th/10th/12th class & applicable as Minimum Qualification
required for respective trade
Weightage -70%: Marks obtained in ITI in all the semesters.
Graduate Apprentices:
Weightage -100%: Marks obtained in Engineering course
