Job Description:
Network Administrator
EIGRP, TCP/IP, UDP, STP/RSTP/PVST, Ether channel.
Whatsupgold, Net Flow, Packet Capture (e.g. Wireshark).
WAN Topologies: Explain scenarios & have working knowledge and be able to troubleshoot the
functions and operations of gateway redundancy protocols (i.e., HSRP, VRRP and GLBP)
configurations.
Routing / Switching: Configure & Verify router hardware and software operation using all
commands. Strong knowledge on all protocols.
Strong knowledge working on Cisco router, Cisco switch and Juniper switch.
Internetworking: Describe purpose of Firewalls(recommended Cisco platform), VPN, IDS,Cisco Iron
port(WSA), SIEM( Preferred McAfee),NAC, IPS( preferred McAfee) , UTM devices, technologies,
Wireless technologies, QOS.
Network Security: Design Implement / Re-engineer Firewalls, VPN, IDS, IPS , UTM devices, Wireless
technologies & QOS, all Internetworking requirements. Acquire knowledge & Train others on new
Products technology.
Tools: Advance knowledge on various tools used in the enterprise networks.
Ticketing systems and Process.
Candidate Profile

Knowledge in MS Word, Excel and Visio for the purposes of documentation.
Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve technical queries of customer - High Sev Incidents, Major
Changes, Change Scripting, Problem Management Tickets, RCA preparation, Understand product
technology and prepare technical documentation, SOPs, Transitions of new tech, Deployment of
network and security devices , Attend conference calls with technical escalation points
onsite./Customer/RCA reviews/High critical incidents conference calls.
Knowledge Management: Assist team members in providing information and knowledge sharing,
Train/Mentor the new hires in the team.
