Job Description

Associate Developer

The Developer is responsible for transforming client requirements including functional and prototyped designs into highly polished functional products. 

The Developer is responsible to identify and use proprietary and leading edge technologies, development practices, web standards and interactive displays to effectively manage and promote Wall Street On Demand�s position as a leader in the design, delivery and management of financial services industry web sites.

Developers are responsible effective time management and the communication necessary to maintain a collaborative team environment that will delight Markit On Demand�s clients.

Education and experience:

A Bachelor�s degree in computer science or related field preferred.

1-3 years experience developing web sites in project, academic or professional environment using JavaScript, D/X/HTML and CSS, web standards, writing server side script on any platform and using object-oriented methodologies required.

Knowledge of JQuery, AJAX, ASP.NET, ASP, C# and browser compatibility issues preferred.
