Assistant Forest Guard/Forest Ranger
Assistant Forest Guard:
At least one of the following subjects is a recognized university: Chemistry, Zoology, Botany,
Geography, Maths, Physics etc.
Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering.
Forest Ranger: Graduation/Postgraduate Degree in the relevant subjects or equivalent examinations
from any recognized University/Institution.
Physical Standards:
Age Limit:
Assistant Forest Guard: 18 to 38 Years
Forest Ranger: 21 to 38 Years
Relaxations in Upper age limit:
5 years for SC/ST candidates
3 years for OBC candidates
Others as per government policy
MPSC – Post wise vacancies: 100 Posts
Assistant Forest Guard – 29 Posts
Forest Ranger – 71 Posts
MPSC Recruitment Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be based on Written Examination, Physical Standards and
Personal Interview.
