Business Development Executive
Get Travel deals from a handpicked set of travel partners in India.
Negotiate the absolute best rates and inventory available for the subscribers of Groupon India.
Develop relationships with key strategic partners in the region.
Conduct competitive and regional trend analyses.
Know your market with unmatched on-the-ground expertise and secure appropriate supply and
industry partners based on trends and seasons.
Plan appropriate educational programs; develop partnerships, present at appropriate regional
conferences, and industry gatherings to build Groupons reputation as a partner in travel.
Work in partnership with Groupons Daily Deal sales teams; champion the travel category, share
best practices and collaborate to maximize results.
Measure revenue, P&L, market share, and competitor ranking, and consistently beat expectations.
Candidate Profile
0-3years sales experience, preferably in Travel/Hotel advertising.
Experience in canvassing and cold-calling into various types of local businesses, with evidence of
consistent and current success.
Strong interpersonal and social skills.
Network of contacts in the relevant sector is a definite bonus.
MBA degree is desirable.
Positive attitude, energetic approach and self-motivation are all essential.
