Job Description:
Junior Engineer, Instrument Mechanic
Junior Engineer: Full time/Regular BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical/ Instrumentation & Control /
Environment/ Metallurgy/ Civil Engineering from recognized University.
Note: Equivalent Degree considered as under:-
B.E/B.Tech (Electrical and Electronics) is considered equivalent to B.E/B.Tech (Electrical).
B.E/.BTech(Electronics and Instrumentation) is considered equivalent to BE/B.Tech (Instrument &
Control)
Instrument Mechanic: Full time / Regular Diploma in Instrument & Control from recognized
University. There is no minimum percentage requirement.
Note: B.E/B.Tech degree holders being over-qualified need not to apply for Instrument Mechanic.

Junior Engineer � Period of Engagement: Two Years as Vidyut Sahayak
Application Fee for GSECL Vacancies:
For SEBC and UR Candidates Rs. 500 /-
For SC/ST Candidates Rs. 250 /-
PWD (Persons with Disability) candidate belongs to SC or ST category and fulfills the criteria, fees
payable shall be Rs.250/-.
Mode of Payment: The applicant has to pay application fees in any of the Branches of State
Bank of India through Challan or On-line through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking.
GSECL Recruitment 2017 Selection Process:
The selection process is based on the Online test.
The online test consists of 100 marks. There shall be negative marking system and 1/4th mark for
each wrong answer shall be deducted to arrive at total marks scored.
The Question Paper of the online test will be in English Language Only for Junior Engineer.The
Question Paper will be in English & Gujarati Language for Instrument Mechanic.
The syllabus of the test will be displayed on official website i.e., gsecl.in.

All interested and eligible candidates can download the application format on the KRCL website

Candidates should report directly for Walk-in-Interview along with one copy of application along
with Original certificates (age proof, qualification, experience, caste etc.) and one set of attested
copy of the same. The eligible Candidate comes to attend Walk-in-Interview on 13 December 2017
at following venue address.
Documents Required:
Attested copies of certificate in proof of qualification (As per the qualification specified in
the notification).
Attested copy of Proof of Date of Birth.
Attested copy of caste certificate in the format required for Central Government
Employment (in case of SC/ST/OBC) and certificate in support of claims for Ex-servicemen.
Two attested passport size recent photographs.
Experience certificate if any.
Character certificate.
