Job Description:
Network Engineer
Monitoring network performance and ensure Network availability and reliability.
Configuring and monitoring various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls,
load balancers, VPN, QoS).
Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes
and security configurations.
Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
Provide Level-1/2 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness,
approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
Work with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Participating in on call rotation.
Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
Experience on Network Security.
Knowledge on LAN and WAN technologies.
Good Understanding of IOS, JUNOS.
Implementation and managing OSPF, BGP, HSRP.
Knowledge of monitoring tools Solarwinds, Zabbix.
Requirements:
Solid understanding of the OSI and TCP/IP model.
Solid knowledge of Routing and switching.
Knowledge of IGP such as OSPF/EIGRP, static routing.
Knowledge of BGP/MPLS/DMVPN/QoS.
Experience on Juniper EX Switches, Juniper SRX firewalls.
Experience on Cisco core Switches, ASR Routers and Nexus Switches and ASA firewalls.
Knowledge of PaloAlto Network Firewalls.
Knowledge of Load Balancers such as F5.
Knowledge of Cloud networking like GCP/AWS.
Knowledge on Web Application Firewall.
Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
Knowledge on monitoring, network diagnostic tools such as Zabbix, solarwinds, tcpdump, wireshark,
nmap etc..
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
