Job Description:
Software Engineer (Java)
Candidate should be able to work as an individual and should be self-motivated and highly
ambitious. The job description includes the following activities.
Work in an agile environment with strong commitment to team goals and demonstration of scrum
values.
Involve in all phases of SDLC including proof of concept, prototype, technical design (high and low
level), coding, unit testing, implementation.
Active participation in all Scrum ceremonies (Daily stand up, Sprint planning, Grooming, Sprint
retrospective and Sprint reviews).
Involve in high level project estimation and release planning.
Work closely with QA team to ensure quality of deliverables.
Review technical design, code and business documentation.
Exhibit strong debugging and analytical skills while resolving issues.
Provide technical leadership and direction to the team.
Collaborate with the team for achieving sprint commitments, should take up any available task from
the backlog in order to meet the sprint goal.
Candidate Profile
Graduate or Post graduate from a reputed institute.
Overall Software Development Life Cycle experience.
Solid experience as Java developer on enterprise level business web applications.
Good technical skills in Java, J2EE, Javascript, Ajax, HTML 5.0, CSS, UI frameworks and XML.
Experience in frameworks � Spring, Hibernate, SOA, Web services.
Good exposure to Applications Servers including JBoss and Web logic.
Good SQL skills.
Good background in OO design, development and best practices with focus on design and
architecting capabilities.
Desired Skills:
Good team player with sound oral and written communication skills.
Strong passion for technology and inclination towards a technical career path.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven problem solving and troubleshooting
abilities.
