Monitoring POSTGRE SQL server performance using profiler to find performance and dead locks. Setting up and scheduling jobs for Backups/Re-indexing/and other maintenance related tasks

Configured Job alerts for maintenance plans using database mail profile

Export or Import data from other data sources like flat files using Import/Export of DTS Implementation of POSTGRE SQL Logins, Roles and Authentication Modes as a part of Security Policies for various categories of User Support

Maintaining the database consistency with DBCC at regular intervals Expertise in configuring.

Implementing& managing Database Mirroring, Log Shipping and Replication.

Monitoring space on server, handling issues with Log files, Shrinking Log and Data files

Troubleshooting Index performance issues & DBCC Checkups for Data integrity & consistency

Expertise in Tuning POSTGRE SQL Queries & improving the performance of the Database and Applications

Database Refresh according to the Client requirement

Conceptual understanding of POSTGRE SQL Server Clustering

Expertise in POSTGRE SQL Scripting skills & Knowledge of RDBMS concepts

Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills in POSTGRE SQL Server environment

Export or Import data from other data sources like flat files using Import/Export of DTS.

Understanding of basic database fundamentals: multi-version control, concurrency, transactions, indexing, locking, caching

Understanding of Unix environment with shell/perl scripting.
