Job Description:
Senior Design Engineer
Perform structural analysis of a Mechanical components using Finite element analysis tools
(ANSYS).
Developing analysis methodology based on physics of the problem.
Meshing the models in Hypermesh/ Workbench and setting decks for Ansys/ Workbench.
Good at solving convergence issues.
Preferable Domain - Heavy equipment structural domain.
Stress report writing.
Skills Required:
The candidate should have 2 to 5 years of hands on experience on Hypermesh/Ansys/Workbench
tools.
Sound knowledge in FEA fundamentals, Engineering concepts and applications.
Good Expertise in ANSYS Classic/ Workbench to perform non-linear analysis/ Sub model analysis.
Knowledge on Fatigue and Damage Tolerance.
Should have worked on Heavy equipment structural domain.
The candidate should be in a position to work independently with minimum guidance from
the team lead.
Giving estimates to the designer/client.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Experience in Rail Transportation /Aerospace/Automotive/Heavy Engineering.
