Job Description:
Production Support Engineer
Execution and monitoring of Operation batch maps
Ensure all SLA are met by ensuring all daily deliverables are met as well as monitoring any high risk
jobs/cycles closely in order to mitigate any negative impact as well as sending alerts, statuses or
escalations if the situation should require.
Communication with all the respective team
Initial Investigation of batch failures/issues
implementation of work around and creating/executing scripts
Create, monitor and complete work requests through ticketing systems and assign work requests to
the appropriate departments.
Participating in version upgrades of the applications.
Supporting maintenance activities and production events
Follow the production M&P
Communication to management (heads up of issues, business impact , operational mitigation plan ,
resolution plan, statuses, Escalation procedure)
Ready to work in 24X7 model
Skills:
Capable of performing a broad range of technical functions
Ability to create and update documentation.
Ability to interact with multiple teams simultaneously ( Ops, T1 , infra etc )
Experience working in a service oriented environment.
Knowledge of execution tools ( Maestro, TWS, Netcool, Ticketing systems)
Experience/ Education Requirements:
1-2+ yrs UNIX operating systems experience.
1-2+ yrs ORACLE SQL experience.
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Colloquial and written English advanced level
Non BE graduates preferable
