Job Description:
Performance Tester
Plan, design, script and execute load, volume, soak and stress testing using LoadRunner tool.
Design and write/develop performance test scripts using LoadRunner VUGen
Should have worked on Web/HTTP, Web Services, EJB, Flex/AMF, Java LoadRunner Scripting
Protocol
Suggest tuning and improvements which will affect the stability, performance, and cost
effectiveness of the application
Need to involve in Requirements/Design reviews to identify test scenarios/cases to be executed for
Performance Load Testing.
Should have experience in creating Performance Test artifacts including test strategy and test
plans, entry and exit criteria, test execution reports, defect/issues reports, action/item reports
Work in a fast paced environment and rapidly adapt to changes
Ability to work with parallel assignments
Requirements:
1+ yrs in depth experience of performance testing cycle and methodology, i.e. script creation, data
preparation, test execution, monitoring, analysis and generating report using LoadRunner Tool.
Knowledge in Unix, scripting various kinds of LR Protocols; preferably Web, Citrix, Java, and Tuxedo
Preferences
Knowledge in monitoring tools like HP Diagnostic, Willy, Oracle Stats pack/AWR report.
Knowledge in HP Performance Centre/ JMeter, Mobile/Big Data/Cloud/Agile - Performance Testing
Experience with software architecture for web based and non-web based applications.
Strong customer facing skills with the ability to influence and motivate clients and employees.
Should have good verbal/written communication skills
Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.
Development experience.
College degree, preferably in computer science or related field.
