Job Description
Junior Research Fellow
The one position of Jr. Research Fellow in a Project entitled �Advancing Biogas utilization through
fuel flexible SOFC�, tenable at CSIR-CGCRI, Kolkata.
Age Limit : Upper Limit for all the above positions is 28 years (as on 01.11.2013) which is relaxable
upto 5 years in the case of applicant or candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled
Tribes/OBC/women/Physically handicapped applicants.
Qualification:
1st Class BE /B.Tech in Ceramics/Materials Science/Metallurgical Engineering with valid GATE score.
Candidates having NET (Engg.) qualification will be preferred.
1st Class M.Sc Physics/Chemistry (Inorganic/Physical).
Candidates having NET or NET (LS) qualification will be preferred.
Pay Scale : For BE ./ B.Tech applicant or candidates with valid GATE/NET (Engg.) or M.Sc
Candidates with NET: Rs.16,000/- + HRA PM.
For M.Sc . applicant or candidates without NET or with NET (LS): Rs.12,000/- + HRA PM for
Tenure : 2 years or co-terminus with the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.
How To Apply
Interested applicant or candidates are requested to attend the above Walk-in-Interview along with
Application Form & Bio-Data in the prescribed format as given here inunder, duly filled in all the
columns enclosing autogenous attested copies of each supporting documents/certificates.
The original certificates should also be brought with him/her at the time of interview for
verification. The applicant or candidates should carry copies of their project thesis with them, if
any. The applicant or candidates should report at least one hour before the scheduled time of
interview for verification of documents.
Incomplete applications without prescribed format and supporting documents will be summarily
rejected. The applicant or candidates, who are waiting for final result, are not eligible.
However, CSIR-CGCRI reserves the right not to fill up the position (s), if it so desires. The decision
of the Institute shall be final in this behalf. Interim enquiries in this respect will not be entertained.
