Job Description:
Sales/Business Development Manager
1. Business Development: Vendor development in various geographies to ensure vendor on-boarding
a. Identify, target and on-board vendors in a systematic manner
b. Maintain relationship with the vendors to ensure adequate assortment
and regular product information is received
c. Set and track daily/weekly metrics for vendor development and on
boarding for management reporting
2. Sales & Marketing: Ensure that the relevant category is a star performer
through the following initiatives
a. Identify and target B2B customers through various channels
b. Ensuring right product and price mix is achieved through negotiation
with vendors and greater diversity in sourcing of products
c. Set and track daily/weekly metrics on gross sales value for management reporting
Desired Candidate profile:
1. Graduate in engineering with an MBA in sales/marketing with at least 1-3
years of sales experience
2. Candidate should have prior experience in vendor & customer acquisition and
relationship management
3. Experience in construction/engineering products sales and business
development is a desired but not a requirement
