Job Description:
Stipendiary Trainees, Technician, Security Guard, Pharmacist, Steno, Upper Division Clerk
Stipendiary Trainees Category � I:
B.Sc. (Physics/Chemistry) with a minimum of 60% marks
Diploma in Engineering in the relevant disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks.
Stipendiary Trainees Category- II:
Minimum 60% marks in HSC with Physics, Chemistry & Maths. OR
Minimum 60% marks in SSC with Science & Maths PLUS trade certificate of not less than
one year duration in Chemical Plant Operator
Minimum 60% marks in SSC with Science & Maths PLUS trade certificate of not less than one year
duration ITI in relevant trade
Technician/B: SSC + Valid II Class Boiler Attendant�s Certificate
Security Guard: Xth Standard � SSC Pass or equivalent
Pharmacist/B: HSC, 10+2, + 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy + 3 months Training in Pharmacy +
Registration as a Pharmacist with Central or State Pharmacy Council
Steno Grade � III:
Matriculation or equivalent with 50% marks.
A speed of 80 words per minute in English stenography
Typing speed in English of 30 words per minute
Upper Division Clerk:
A Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks.
Desirable: Minimum speed of 30 w.p.m. in typewriting in English.

Stipendiary Trainees Category � I: 18 to 24 years
Stipendiary Trainees Category � II: 18 to 22 years
Security Guard/UDC: 18 to 27 years
Technician/Pharmacist: 18 to 25 years
Steno Grade � III: 18 to 30 years
Relaxations:
5 years for SC/ST candidates
3 years for OBC candidates
10 years for PWD+UR category, 13 years for PWD+OBC category and 15 years for PWD+SC/ST
category.

BARC Recruitment Selection Process:
The selection process will be based on Written Examination, Physical Standard Test, Physical
Endurance Test, Advanced Test, Skills Test & Interview.

For Category-II/Others: Rs.100/-
No fee for SC/ST, PWD and Women category.
