Software Developer
Two to three years of experience in web design, of which a minimum of one year producing
tableless, XHTML, standardscompliant cross browser, and gracefullydegrading code and a
minimum of one year experience with DOM scripting and Movable Type.
Advanced knowledge of XHTML, CSS, and of digital imaging and illustration with Adobe
Photoshop, QuarkXPress and Illustrator with formal training an asset.
Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS and dynamic HTML; experience with Macromedia Flash.
Knowledge and demonstrated experience with crossbrowser and crossplatform issues (IE, Firefox,
Safari, etc.)
Very good spoken and written English in order to design prototypes.
Attention to detail, customerservice orientation, and creativity in problemsolving.
Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way to the team.
Superior knowledge of current webdesign trends and techniques, an online portfolio displaying
usercentred design.
