Teachers
PGT (Post Graduate Teacher): 2nd Class Master Degree in the concerned subject from a recognised
University with B.Ed.
TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher): 2nd Class Bachelor Degree in Arts / Science / Commerce from a
recognised University with B.Ed.
Age limit(As on 09.07.2018):
For PGT Candidates: 18 to 35 years
For TGT candidates: 18 to 33 years
Relaxations: The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for APST and another 5 years for Arunachal
Pradesh Govt. employees. For PWD candidates, upper age limit will be further relaxed for 10 years
(for unreserved candidates) and 15 years (for APST candidates).

APPSC PGT/TGT Recruitment Selection Process:
The eligible candidate will have to appear in written examination in the following subjects followed
by Viva-Voce test to be conducted by Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Itanagar on
the basis of which selection will be finalized.
Scheme of Examination:
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
33% or more marks in each written examination papers & 45% or more marks out of aggregate total
marks in the written examination papers shall be eligible for Viva-Voce.
Application Fee:
PGT (Post Graduate Teacher): Rs.150/- for APST and Rs.200/- for Others
TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher): Rs.100/- for APST and Rs.150/- for Others
