Job Description:
Configuration Analyst
Laterals:
1 to 5 years of experience in experience in benefits administration, payroll, HRIS, or data
integration / BI
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good knowledge and experience of MS-Excel, MS Access, SQL and XML
Prior experience in a Quality Auditor role, CBQA (Certified Business Quality Auditor) is highly
preferred.
Basic Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC
(software Testing Life Cycle)
Basic Project Management skills
Good decision making skills & analytical skills
Extremely service oriented with willingness to learn new things
Willingness to work in different time zones/late night shifts
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
Provides operational support for clients after the ADP product has gone into production with the
client. Develops and determines best methods to accomplish successful delivery of solutions.
Applies tools and testing methods to processes in order to consistently produce error free results in
a timely manner.
Identifies and resolves escalated client and production issues by conducting root cause analysis of
the issue and resolving the issue or working with the appropriate resource to resolve. Recommend
process improvement and client/associate satisfaction improvement initiatives.
Develops and manages work plans for specified client base. Manages self to the completion of
those tasks and inform others when problems occur or when commitments cannot be met as
planned. Responds and reacts to a variety of critical issues simultaneously.
Writes data base queries and reports as appropriate. Creates, updates and maintains functional
documentation to support client processing.
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of applicable platforms/applications. Develops solutions and
recommendations to client needs through the use of the application; understands impact on scope
and timelines. Identifies and reports potential scope changes and opportunities to appropriate
management.
Uses effective communication and facilitation skills to advise and influence clients at the user and
line management levels. Prepare written communications such as status reports, project/internal
correspondence, and functional specifications
